This Date in History: Michael Jordan's iconic game-winner
On June 14th 1998, the Chicago Bulls and Utah Jazz met for game 6 of the NBA Finals. With 20 seconds left in the game, the Bulls were down one. Jordan stripped Karl Malone in the post and called a timeout. Coming out of the timeout, Jordan received the ball, drove middle, crossed back to his left and hit a 20 foot jumper over Bryon Russell. The Bulls became the 1998 NBA Champions.
